The #1 Hottest Destination Spot: All-Inclusive Overwater Bungalows
Authored by Adam Sherman
If you have ever dreamed about having your very own all-inclusive water bungalow, now is your chance. Up until now, Bora Bora was the destination spot for those seeking over-water accommodations. These luxurious suites provide a private stay with 360-degree water views that would rank top on most travelers’ bucket list. However, Bora-Bora’s 20+ hour flight leaves little to be desired for travelers and would ultimately cut your vacation short by several days.
Now, you can have heaven on earth closer to home. Finally, last month, Sandals Resort Royal Caribbean in Jamaica unveiled its own overwater luxury suites.

Being the first of its kind in the Caribbean, the new resort will allow travelers to literally wake up surrounded by the beauty of the Caribbean. And Sandals Resort Royal Caribbean brings the entire experience to those of us who don’t want to take out a second mortgage just to take a vacation. Just imagine having your first cup of coffee or tea on your own private outdoor deck with panoramic views of aqua blue water.
Does this sound like a dream vacation for you? Let’s take a closer peak at the details.
The Sweet Suites
These gorgeous Tahiti-style bungalows feature see-through glass floors, a private outdoor shower, an over-the-water hammock for two, and a private infinity pool. With a king size bed, a bath tub overlooking the ocean and 2,000 square feet, you may never want to leave your private suite. And you don’t have to, with the 24-hour on call butler who is waiting to take care of your every need.

All the toppings, please
The Resort Royal Caribbean is an all-inclusive resort that comes with many, many amenities. From unlimited premium cocktail drinks served 24/7 to fine French dining. For those who like a little culinary variety, there are also fine dining options with upscale American and totally relaxed Caribbean restaurants. If that’s not enough, you can dine at the two other Sandals resorts located in Montego Bay. After the sun goes down and there is a drink in hand, there is nightly entertainment, themed parties and live music.
Sandals Resort Royal Caribbean’s all-inclusive policy provides many things to do during the day. Being a guest provides you access to paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling. If you want a little more excitement in your day, you can take unlimited SCUBA dives in the crystal clear Caribbean water. Guests can also enjoy private boat transfers to and from the resort.

The Coordinates
With its turquoise water and white sandy beaches, Jamaica is the ideal setting for your private water bungalow. Sandals selected a spot that is away from the hustle and bustle of Montego Bay and the island’s capital, Kingston. These resort suites are snuggled in the quiet corner of Jamaica, located close to the pristine beaches of Doctor’s Cave Beach and Walter Fletcher Beach. If you ever decide to get off your private hammock, there are plenty of restaurants and things to do in the area.

Brass Taxes
Each of the five 2,000-square-feet villas start nightly at $2,500 for two people. Too expensive for your travel budget? Sandals is already set to add 12 additional smaller bungalows this spring. The good news is that the cost of these villas will be significantly less than their spacious brethren. The overwater bungalow trend will continue to expand, with Sandals opening more villas at Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals South Coast, Sandals Royal Plantation, and Sandals Grande St. Lucian. The more the supply, the more we can expect prices to come down. Stay tuned.

The Sandals Resort Royal Caribbean in Jamaica is a destination that will not exhaust your patience getting there, and will provide a luxurious and relaxing destination. Finally cross that dream vacation off your bucket list! And when you do, don’t forget your stylish water sandals.
